Self-taught artist, Leicestershire

I am a self-taught artist living in Leicestershire with my husband and two children. Art has always been a passion throughout my life and after years of creating art as gifts for family and friends, I was encouraged to grow my passion into an art business. 

As a trained interior designer, I can visualise a space to connect meaning, memory and aesthetics, and this plays an integral part in creating my art.

Often my art takes inspiration from the very space that it will be displayed, for example the texture of the walls or furniture, metallic finishes within a space, or the colours of furnishings.

My art is also influenced by nature, fashion, textures and bold, vibrant colours from my Indian heritage. I use a mixture of acrylics, metallic sprays and gold leaf to create my artwork.
